about
All money paid for this track will go to Randy Ponzio's family.
We started writing this track in the early months of this year. We knew we really liked it, but couldn't quite figure out how to finish it. It was right around the time when Randy Ponzio died, as well as a good friend of ours was inches from death. The lyrics in the song and the overall sound were meant to capture the feeling of losing friends, as well as life, and the amazing world we all can create inside our minds if we just try.
Nothing is ever out of reach in our dreams - enjoy.
lyrics
Rain city when the heartbeat stops, I watched you float away.
Stadium feel when the lights come up, I had to stop and pray for you to stay.
So enticing like when lightning strikes comes the sound with no delay.
Rain city when the heartbeat stops, it's just another day...another day.
Be what I see when I dream.
Be what I see when I dream.
They came quickly it was hard to watch, so I found the sky.
Dead weight into a cardboard box, I just needed time to realize
The finer points of why our joints tense up when our spirits start to fly.
Rain city with an X marked spot, where treasures come to die.
Say goodbye.
Be what I see when I dream.
Be what I see when I dream.
'Cause everything is easy when I sleep.
So be what I see when I dream.
I hear you say "I'll be back some day."
And when I'm dreaming you're not leaving,
You're near me.
And when I close my eyes you are alive.
Be what I see when I dream.
Be what I see when I dream.
'Cause everything is easy when I sleep.
So be what I see when I dream.
When I dream I am alive.
And you are alive in my heart.

Thank you to Adam Lastiwka for pushing the song further than it was ever going to go. You make life hell, but it's well worth it!
Thank you Stephanie for making the choruses sound angelic and huge. It's hard to hear you in the mix, but when you're taken out the song dies.
Thanks to Dkenz Fotos for letting us use your incredible image for our track. We felt it captured the feeling amazingly well. - dkenz.wordpress.com
